Goodbye is perhaps the single hardest thing that any person in a relationship, romantic or otherwise, will ever have to endure. Goodbyes can be painful, even heart-breaking. This is natural. We were all created with a unique and beautiful spirit, not like any other in existence. Love was and is the basis of all creation. Love, not of man or women, but of God for his perfect and unique creation: you. Just as God created you, he has created a mate for you who is as beautiful and as unique as you are.
If you are saying goodbye you really should ask yourself if the individual whom you are saying goodbye to is the individual whom you think God ordained for you to spend your life. It is completely understandable that we all deal with the end of a relationship differently. However it is not healthy to dwell on, or allow the end of a relationship to define our present or future. Saying goodbye to someone who is clearly not our soul is a “blessing”.
What is it that beckons us to continue in a relationship that we know only distracts and hinders us from our ultimate goal of happiness? The sooner we say goodbye to our undesirable, and once again come to focus on loving “ourselves”, the sooner we are able to receive our blessing from God in the form of the other half of the spirit that makes us whole.
